In many cases, original cabinet boxes are in good shape; by simply replacing the doors, face frames, knobs, and adding molding for a decorative touch, you can achieve the “face lift” you were hoping for. When compared to starting completely from scratch, this technique can save you a lot of money (usually half the cost of a new kitchen) ... and who doesn’t love that?
